In order to surrender your Dane, your dog must
*pass an evaluation
*be surrendered with a completed surrender contract giving BBGDR ownership of the dane
*come with copies of ALL records pertaining to the dog, especially vet records
*have a good general temperment with no previous history of agression.
ATTENTION: If your dog has bitten even once, please do not put other innocent people at risk by not disclosing that information. We cannot, for the safety of people just like you, adopt out dogs that bite. We will help you explore all the available options but please don't expect us to take a dog that has injured others. We take our responsibility to our potential adopters, volunteers, and public seriously and CANNOT knowingly risk injury to people. Danes are giant dogs and with that comes giant responsibilities.
In order to help us find your dog it's forever home as soon as possible, we would appreciate:
*your dog is up-to-date on all vaccinations
*your provide us with pictures of the dog (as many as you can, and the best close ups possible)
*your dog is neutered/spayed
If you have decided you have no other choice but to surrender your Great Dane please send as much information as possible to BBGDRadoptions@hotmail.com and we will review your request and e-mail you the appropriate forms back to you.
